Round on the sides...
and HI in the middle...O-HI-O! Ben and I flew to Ohio on July 4th to visit my family and were there until Sunday. It was a busy few days, but Ben took it all in stride. Once again, he was very well behaved on the flights and didn't cry even once! He was too busy trying to figure out the air vents above us, playing peek-a-boo with the people seated behind us, and reading (well, chewing) the Sky Mall magazines. Once in Ohio, Halmoni put Ben in a summertime shorty podaegi and carried him around pretty much everywhere. Bedtimes and naptimes went out the window with Ben deciding there was too much to do to waste time sleeping. The kid just doesn't like or need much sleep, it seems. He took his baths al fresco and crawled around on the grass (though he didn't like the feel of the grass and kept trying to make it across on just his hands and feet, which was funny to watch!). We visited with my Godparents, Auntie Suki and Uncle Arny, and we got to see my brother Arn's and his fiancee, Christie's, new house. Ben had his first Bob Evans breakfast, drank from a big person glass, and took some time to admire the many ceiling fans they had. When he did take a nap at one point, he woke up afterwards with it sticking up all over the place. That's not product, people--that's curly hair he's apparently inherited from me. On Sunday we went to the Korean church where Ben got to meet some other kids who all wanted to hold him. After the service, Ben ate some sticky rice and we were off to catch our flight back home to Chicago. (BTW, while we were gone, Andrew took the opportunity to catch up on some sleep, go out without arranging for a babysitter, and getting a Wii--and subsequent Wii-itis in his right shoulder!)

did I read correctly, Arn is engaged?!?! My goodness!
