The Terrible One And A Quarters?
Ben has been, some might say, a bit of a handful these days. Lots of changes in his life, from no more nursing to moving semi-permanently to the toddler room at day care. I think this is what the experts call "a phase." Nonetheless, we're 99.99% sure we're keeping him. Some new things include making himself dizzy, blowing kisses, learning how to use a fork, adding more words to his vocabulary (sounds for more, please, ball), climbing up on everything and acting quite proud of himself. We've also begun swimming classes again in anticipation of warmer waters in Hawaii.
15 month check-up stats: 22 lbs, 33 in tall. Still a statistical string bean!
Ben has a thing for spatulas. He's become a bit of a connoisseur.
This is what happens when you hand blueberries over to a toddler. He ends up with blueberry butt.
What do you do when it's 5° out? Bubbles inside of course!
Ben's been lovin' on the animals lately, too. Dexter is reluctant, but very patient. Bomber will take any and all attention he can get.

Hey Ben, don't worry about Blueberry Butt. That happens sometimes to us adults too. Next time she sees you, Aunt Karen will tell you about Yogurt Knee, Coffee Boob, and the worst -- Black Bean Soup Crotch!
