One Fine Day
This past weekend we finally had our first warm, sunny days of the year here in Chicago! We took advantage of this and spent the day outside on Saturday. We started off with brunch at Bongo Room with Val and Jeff. Ben approved of his banana and toffee pancakes and had fun with the cute sea creature finger puppets Aunt Val and Uncle Jeff brought him! Then we drove up Lake Shore to Montrose Harbor park where Ben got to play for a while. He absolutely loved running around on the playground equipment and sliding down the slide. It took some convincing to get him to leave, but eventually we got back in the car and drove to Wrigley to watch the Cubs beat the Astros. We got to spend some time with Julie, Scot, Gary and Sarah. Despite not really napping, Ben was on his best behavior all day. Yay Ben!
